Exhaustion

bodies

have tide marks

where time’s ocean

drops detritus

on our

shorelines – their

smashing

crush

bringing wave

after wave

to submission

living oceans

inside & out

we’re being fished

drilled and

littered

bankrupt

spirits

like the quiet

decay

of diversity

    1. Glad it made sense to you. I wasn’t sure when I posted it last night and I still wasn’t sure when I read it this morning. It was supposed to be about being tired physically and mentally – inside and outside. I was talking about the inside and the outside of the ocean but how it related to the body was a bit mixed up.
