I love this. Both sad and beautiful. So much in so few words.

I’m sitting in a country that’s busy tearing its own heart out, in a world on the brink… trying to figure where hope flies and feeling only tears…
and this captures a moment I can deeply relate to.

Blue glaze, perfect sky description. The dive and the tears, hopefully brief.

I know this feeling so well. Why is it that only pigeons make hospitals their home? If this is your day, I hope you make an escape soon.

Thanks. I have been out over a week. It just took me a while to make a poem out of a scribbled note. Slowly recovering. Slowly making a new normal.

I thought you might have had to go back for more treatment.

Not sure what to expect in that regard.

I didn’t know you’d been in hospital and I’m sorry. Hope you’re doing better and have received good news.

It was for the mastectomy. Recovering well. Still on the warpath to planning further treatment. Thanks for your good wishes. 💕
