Oh I love this! I was just thinking about writing a poem about the milky way. But this just perfect.

With the prompts on sites like dVerse I find if I read other people’s responses first I become paralysed and can’t write my own. So like with that, my take on the milky way will have to wait now :D.
We have a very dark sky here, with the skyglow of Canberra off the the south west. So it really is milky.

my parents have the dark sky too. it’s a real privilege to go outside there and look up.

Forever. 😦 Because it’s our drive, it’s our responsibility, not the council. But hey, it’s so pretty!! And the kids love riding their bikes through it.
