on this tide (between my brows) in the quiet creak of waves a cat floats rump scooped in base-to-base voluptuous cello mellow tones barley ripe and ticking shshshshsh says the sand black-hearted sassafras this elegant shore knots of dark & light her hair against its flank

Love the sounds imagery. Sweet drawing as well.

thanks. it’s all just a moment with closed eyes. i don’t know if it’s drugs or tiredness from drugs but my brain is doing unusual stuff. last night I joked to a friend that when the drugs go, I’ll become a spreadsheet poet. 😀

Doubtful unless this spreadsheet is fraught with original columns and radical rows. Wish for you a rest that recharges you fully so you can keep inspiring the likes of me. 😉

I love this sketch and poem. Imagery really works. And I think your cat must enjoy being a model!

Did your weird vision give you any insight into why cat’s bottoms look like pencil sharpeners? 🙂

If you want to be a sharp shitter, gotta have the right bum. That’s all there is to it. Australian wombats, on the other hand, go the cubic option. So they are square-rumped.
