Pinkly round,
peeking over a frolic of green grass tips
a galah's head sails
like our planet -
the way its unique blue
crests space's darkness
Bird and I linger
flicked by lithe shadows'
gauzy streamers.
We are both pretending
Earth's serenity.
Unflappable orbit.
Written for Linda's dVerse prompt Quadrille #136 "Let's Linger"
love the ending stanza! The pretending makes me think about Shakespeare’s line again, how life’s a stage. Just my interpretation! 💗
