We’re bound by social etiquette to keep our feelings in a net but I'm a pot boiling hot staining the stove with bubbles’ jet
“Let me go mad” was last week’s dVerse prompt. This is a belated contribution.

Lol. You guessed it. I let it bubble over just a bit to Mr Worms last night just to stop me embarrassing myself with a larger audience.

🤣🤣. Maybe. A nurse yesterday told me of her snipey interaction with a guy who didn’t respect social distancing in the supermarket. She said “I think, being over 50, I can be a grumpy old woman now.” But she works in oncology. I totally appreciate her speaking up. And I am sure any patient in hospital would.

I was born grumpy, and I see no reason to go off the rails now. I would’ve given that guy an earful also. 😖

You don’t come across as grumpy on WP. 😀

Oh, I also laugh a lot, but things like the media focusing on petrol shortages rather than mass starvation in Africa … that sort of thing makes me very grumpy.

Great poem! I’m really feeling that at the moment… I say I don’t turn my camera on because of bandwidth in work meetings, but it’s really so I can pull faces and make rude gestures.

Ah yes. The beauty of online meetings. We will feel so exposed when we must face people again.
