I had a couple of lovely clumps of spring stars like these, and something has eaten one of them! I got to enjoy them for a couple of weeks first at least. Yours are lovely.
It’s harder for gardens, but I think easier for people.
We have a very violent rooster who attacks everyone. I’ve been thinking of putting him outside the coop and letting him take his chances with the wedgies.
So delicate and beautiful. Star flowers?

I think you might be right. They’ve popped up all over the place this spring… like weeds.

I’m not positive, but I think they’re bulbs.

They certainly behave like bulbs – just appearing quite suddenly in the spring.

Are they scented?

Not sure. I’ll take a sniff tomorrow. My nose is a bit trashed by the chemo but I”ll see what I can do.

Life outside is definitely harder further from the city. My parents lost two chooks to wedgies last week.
