Crows ride the roof prow feathers mussed in peak hour clouds. Peace of a Buddhist Temple torn like silk “ark, ark, aaark” Pale shadows under black gloss swoop.
Written for Grace’s dVerse poetics challenge – the Wayra Form + use onomatopoiea
The elements of the Wayra are:
1.a pentastich, a poem in 5 lines.
2.syllabic, 5-7-7-6-8
3.unrhymed.
Fab! I love it. It even makes its own music 🎶!

Thanks, M. I forgot to say in my info about the prompt… we had to include onomatopoeia (which should mean the use of lots of vowels).

love the image ‘peace … torn like silk’; you’re fond of the word ‘mussed’ which I looked up first time you used it; tight little vignette 🙂

thanks. I had “fluffed” there originally but thought it too commonly used of feathers. I have used it recently, haven’t I? I can’t think where.
