I must admit, out of curiosity, I had a look at the Google satellite images of Jerusalem. I was curious because I associate Jerusalem with the Bible and wanted to see whether it looks super modern now. I was glad it didn’t. But I did notice there wasn’t a lot of green. Canberra is a very green city.
it depends where in Jerusalem you are… but, yes, a lot of the buildings are old – but not from biblical times, unless you’re talking about the Old City.
Well it certainly looks old compared to any Australian city. LOL. That wouldn’t be hard. And it looks different to European cities. Or Asian cities. Paris has its centre bit which is old(ish) and has that particular well-known style. But there’s a modern part of Paris too, off in the distance, gleaming and surreal. I had no curiosity to visit it though. I’m glad they kept it separate.
