  after dark,  
paradiddle rain
   the neighbour’s canoe
glows against night's hedge
        pale hypotenuse
  sandalwood and citronella
my new hair in pleasant ruffle
the deck’s too breezy for UNO

Every line is a perfect image in its own right – this is wonderful Worms! I think the pale hypotenuse is my favourite though. 🙂

…and mine is paradiddle rain. Paradiddle is a great word anyway and linking it with rain is inspired.

I’m with Hobbo on the paradiddle. I had to Google it. Sometimes I’m amazed that we’ve attached a word to everything under the sun.
