what do we think of this tiny testicular section of the Olgas? only that the desert is light garish with wanderlust note the extrapolated blue and shadows as maledictions dug deep hoops of ghost boulders reveal apathetic clouds and the birds watch silent as the blooded stones would you whistle? surely intensity forbids
“The Olgas” (known now by their Aboriginal name Kata Tjuta) are a rock formation about 40km west of Uluru in the Northern Territory, Australia.

Wonderful and surreal. And I don’t think I would whistle.

Thanks Bob. I’m glad you liked it. The painting, oddly, feels like a step outside my comfort zone.

Nice bit of ekphrastising. As for the painting, itโs outside my comfort zone also. Iโm tempted to reach for the fungal spray.

Out of interest, have you heard of The Olgas? I have no idea how well known they are outside Australia.
