In the yard, a flail of kids
acrobat arms evict the grey
and charm finds its resting place
in the soft damp of mizzled hair
-the stroke that leaves glitter
and they gather, squatting
heads bowed to a green mound-
twin-flowered kawell sprinkled with
the white-petal remnants
of a soggy paper plane
Lovely, Jo. What is the name of this flower? Once I know this, I can respond to the last question you asked me. 🙂

These flowers were very happy on the slopes of Mt Taylor. I don’t know what they are. And I can’t remember the last question I asked you. :-). I only noticed in the photo when I got home that the petals are almost like feathers. Shows how observant I am!
