on the bureau’s map this mass of cloud has its mouth around our state medicinal bullets pelt your healing skin these jaws of wet into which we plunge: cars and people and headlights scything through the plummeting dark umbrellas take to rapping choruses in umbilical grey street lights snuff out silenced by the breath of brandished shadows I take photos silver infinity symbols stamp 3D in your puddles trying to catch the rain as pencilled light people run and squeal, use anything as a hat a carpark of shiny smiles give the weather a big round ten
Those pencil line raindrops are so vivid as are the other eloquent descriptions. Wonderful, worms.
